MDZS CONCEPT PACKAGE

A video game concept art package inspired by the Mó Dào Zǔ Shī novels by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. For this project I created a new senario that would occur within the world created by the books. The package features two POV shots, an establishing shot, two callouts, and a stage layout.

Upon visiting a village frozen in time, the protagonist Wei Wuxian is confronted by the rampaging Dragon of Time, whose long dormancy has been disturbed. After raising the earth from beneath the water-born shrine, Wei Wuxian is forced to battle with the ancient creature lest the town be subjected to a terrible fate.  

LONELY WANDER

Lonely Wander is a mini project featuring two character designs for a Xianxia style world. 

Bai Huiyin was a royal-in-waiting before abdicating the throne in order to travel the world. During his travels he meets Hei, a humble farmer looking for a chance to leave his small town for a life of adventure. Together they travers the far reaches of China, exorcising demons for coin, and visiting unknown locations, while nurturing an everlasting relationship.

THE LAST FANTASY

The Last Fantasy features a set of character concepts based on scripts prescribed during a class taken with John Grello.

A young Mage, the crown prince to the kingdom, along with the help of his childhood retainers, Ranger and Warrior, must save the King from the grasps of a deadly cursed mask!
