Teal Blossom

The fog begins to clear on the ancient legends of the Onna-Musha. The long lost female warrior class of the Samurai lore. Erased by the hands of cowardly men through time to afraid of the strength yielded by women of the past. Today begins a new rising sun.

Originally created for my Advanced term at "Think Tank Training Centre Online".  The character and props where created in both ZBrush2021 and Maya 2020. Refined in Zbrush and retopologized in Maya. The low-poly was baked and textured using Substance Painter utilizing custom textiles created in Substance Designer (shown below).  The textile was created as an exercise to experiment with patterns (I think 15 patterns where created in total), selecting one pattern I then developed the weave.  From here the weave and pattern where integrated combined with colour and roughness to which I applied an embroidery pipeline to create the blossoms.
