Motion Graphics Portfolio Entry
This is a collection of my latest personal work aimed at communicating complex geometries through motion. Each feature a combination of procedural modeling, programming, texturing, lighting, dynamic simulations, animations, and video/audio editing. Enjoy!
Demo Reel
This demo reel is a collection of personal research and development in motion graphics to accompany my graduate studies in Interactive Design & Game Development at the Savannah College of Art & Design. Modeling, animation, and composition produced with Houdini, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Redshift, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
The following videos and graphics highlight some of the notable projects from the above demo reel in greater detail.
Weapon Assembly
Project that explores modeling, texturing, and animation in Houdini with Substance Painter and Redshift. The intent was to visually demonstrate quick assembly of the rifle's main components and operation, as well as interchanging accessories.
Procedural Character
Exploration of character model framework using a procedural algorithm in Houdini based on various seed values. This documentation of the creation process generates a library of forms to further evolve the character into its rigging and animation. The coat was modeled in Marvelous Designer and textured with an emissive inner lining to illuminate the characters framework. Rendered with Redshift and video editing completed in DaVinci Resolve.
