This was a group project where I was in charge of concepting, modeling, and texturing a character for my Narrative Structure class at Gnomon taught by Andrea Adams. It is inspired by the folk tale of the Baba Yaga. I wanted to challenge myself with modeling, sculpting, and texturing a realistic cg human and I’m pretty happy with the result. Special thanks to one of my teachers Miguel Ortega for helping me with the compositing and giving me feedback.
Sculpted in ZBrush. Textured in Mari and Substance Painter. Rendered with VRay. Composited in Nuke.
Hair was done with XGen in Maya.
