BORN FROM THE ASH
The first thing we did for this project was creating a language for our faction. Once it was ready we made thumbnails using abstract forms and developing the landscapes as a result of this.
It has been a challenge learning to create images this way
In these works we develop an exterior and interior prop for a house wich belongs to our faction.
In my case it is a guild tavern of hunters who cames from all over the kingdom, and they meet and share information
This is the final illustration, in which I try to capture the essence of the faction.
Starting from a thumbnail with abstract forms and then adding the elements of the language inspired by oriental ones.
Then we worked on a line drawing from those values. We put the base colors, lights and finally many hours of work to finish it.
For the characters we worked from silhouettes, we made many of them to have many options to get good designs.
From this moment we choose the ones that worked the best, we broke the silhouettes into other values and once it was ready, we made the line.
