This piece was created for Miguel Ortega's Look Development class at Gnomon. I was responsible for modelling Maya, rendering in V-Ray, Texturing in Mari (with Substance mesh maps) and comping it all back together in Nuke. I still consider this project a work in progress as I would like to model an environment for this character, but I hope you enjoy!

One of the biggest challenges for me was designing a back. Even though you don't really get to see it, I modelled and rigged some pistons so that I can have more flexibility with adjusting the design as well as making sure the limbs could move around with minimal clipping.
