ABOUT LIMES LEGENDS
LIMES LEGENDS is a couch co-op party game for 4 players.
In this vertical slice you and your fellow Romans must escort your Emperor to their Castellum.
Make sure to work together, because you're not the only team that fights for the title of Legends.
Haul the ship, repair the bridges and roads to safely arrive to your destination. But beware of the gods, dodge their brutal powers and continue your mission.
Who will win and become a LIMES LEGEND?!
Gameplay Features
Competition
Two teams, consisting of two players, will race against each other in an epic battle.
The team that reaches the finish line first wins and gets the title: Limes Legend!
Collaboration
The world of Limes Legends is a challenging environment. You have to complete multiple tasks to safely arrive at your destination. Decide your own tactics by working together or by dividing the tasks, but do everything you can to reach your goal first and become a Limes Legend!
Gods
Bystanders can vote on Gods by using their mobile phone. The God that is chosen, will unleash their powers. Both teams must cope with their brutal powers and continue the mission.
Mobile Application
Originally we designed the game for a museum program, which contains a group of 15 students.
The main game is playable with 4 players, but what will these other 11 students do?
We’ve come up with a great solution to not exclude anyone from the game by adding a mobile application. While the 4 players are racing against each other, the bystanders become part of the council of the gods.
These players will influence the game by using their mobile phone to vote for which god, will unleash their power upon the players.

Level Design & Set Dressing
During the production of Limes Legends we had to come up with a level design that could work on a narrow split screen view. There were multiple elements that needed to be taken into account, like overall readability, a steep learning curve and scale of the level in combination with a time limit of the max play duration of the level.

Future plans
In this vertical slice you've been introduced to the world of Limes.
But our Legends have many more adventures ahead of them. Discover new places, face new gods and overcome numerous tough challenges in what is more to come!
We've got a lot of exciting plans for the further development of Limes Legends and to realise this goal we're actively looking for investors.
