Demonic Cats
Demonic Cats is a small arena survival game where you have to get through 15 increasingly difficult waves. With 6 different enemy types and 2 weapons at your disposal the game is some nice, fast paced fun for about 20-30 minutes.

Demonic Cats is the first game I've made from scratch by myself and I've mainly made it as some practice for myself with Unreal Engine Blueprinting.
Production
Demonic Cats was made in just under a week, almost in a game jam format. I had the original idea for a simple arena survival game and once I started working I kept building on the idea, adding a new attack, new enemies and the wave spawning system.

Iterations
Below is one of the first prototypes that just had the bomb attack and the basic enemies.
I then added the Melee attack and changed the bomb visuals to make it more clear if enemies are in it or not, you can also see the Tank enemy making it's first appearance.
Afterwards I added some extra visuals to the character to indicate that the melee and bomb are off cooldown and I started experimenting with the spikes.
