Project Brief

To design whimsical furniture that provides a fun and creative environment that let kids’ imagination soar, which give them a chance to learn and develop their personality in their own space.

Concept Statement

Union is a table and chair set which enable for kids to play and study. The design of Union is inspired by the bingo games set. Just like the form of the bingo game set, it can be pull up for having a games by adding the “coil "inside. Meanwhile the “coin” are enable to take out after the games end.

The chair can be combine and also can be dismantle with kids usage. It divided into three part, which include a cylinder drawer and two kids ladder. If combine them together it will become a storage functional chair.

Union’s table also have Its own storage area which need to pull up the table top to keep the things inside therefore it will looks tidy and clean on the table. Besides, the opposite side of the table will also leave a semi cylinder shape to allow the cylinder drawer to fix on the table.

Age Range: 4-6 years old

Space: Residential and Kindergarten

Kids chair can be dismantle to become a ladder which can help kids to take their things from the height level by their own selves.

Chair can be dismantle for 3 parts which allow the kids play on the floor with a small table and a cylinder drawer for storage purpose as well.

It can be combine to become a chair for kids to sit on and having their own activities.

Age Range: 4-10 years old

Space: Residential and Kindergarten

 The combination of the chair and table which enable the kids to reading, drawing and so on. It is also a place for kids to cultivate interest.
