Fukushu: a revenge story

Project for a 2D animation series set in Japan during the Edo period. In 1782, Japan is under a famine. Criminal gangs draw on looting of the most vulnerable and cannibalism to fight famine. A samurai and his young disciple travel through the different towns of Japan seeking revenge against one of those gangs.
