Project Sibling

Project Siblings is a personal project I hope to take to a fully realized game one day. 

A set of long-lost siblings, Kava and Everly, reunited in the jungle Kava grew up in. The trees are dying, and it's affecting Kava. They have to work together and learn from each other to find out what is draining the jungle.

Nationality: Igris (but displaced)

Socioeconomic Level as a child: Feral (Wealthy in Igris but never had it)

Socioeconomic Level as an adult: N/A

Homeland: Igris (kind of like steampunk England)

Current Residence: Unknown Jungle

Occupation: Feral Child, it’s a full-time job

Story: Kava is lost in the jungle after a shipwreck and grew up in an unknown jungle. He learned everything from the jungle and the sparse humans that populate the jungle. The jungle is now dying and it's changing the landscape in unforeseeable ways. Furthermore, it's also affecting the residents within. Kava, being a resident himself, becomes prone to going feral himself once in a while as well.

Everly

Age: 12

Nationality: Igrisian

Socioeconomic Level as a child: Wealthy in Igris

Socioeconomic Level as an adult: N/A

Homeland: Igris (kind of like steampunk England)

Current Residence: Igris

Occupation: Super Genius Inventor

Story: The younger sister who was separated from her brother after a shipwreck dedicates her entire life and genius to returning to her brother. Having unlimited resources from her family background also helped. She's always been at the top of everything in Igris, but now she finds herself in a completely unfamiliar territory.

Sharing Table

Each character grows and gains different abilities from each other throughout their traversal in the the world. Within the world, they'll also find these sharing tables left behind by an ancient civilization. The table's magical properties allows for the instantaneous transfer of one ability from each side to the other (though the ability's effectiveness is lessened). Each sharing table can only be used once, but the copied abilities remain on each of the character forever.

Ex. Kava's has improved movement amongst the trees. ->  Everly who was not able to climb any trees can now climb trees and move between them, though slower and not as smoothly. This opens up opportunities for Everly to reach places she could not herself previously.
