Originally created as part of a school project at SAE Athens, this is my first complete, game ready character. My love of horror and creature design led me to create a carnivorous toad that's been overtaken and zombiefied by an equally predatory parasitic mushroom species inspired by the creepy fungi of our world.

The initial concept sketch of the creature was based on the Fowler's toad, while the appearance of the mushrooms were based on the Pholiotina rugosa and their behavior was based on the parasitic Ophiocordyceps unilateralis that infect and have a "zombifying" effect on carpenter ants.
