A one week piece made at The Game Assembly in Malmö during a LevelDesign/WorldBuilding Assignment. 
The piece is heavily inspired by Quixels Goddess Temple and a lot of the same meshes were used. During this assignment I delved deeper into UE4 and how Runtime Virtual Texturing works in correlation with meshes.

Besides the challenges of RVT, A lot of time and focus was spent on the lighting trying to achieve a split complementary color scheme with the Blue/Yellows and the small parts of Green. The scene is lit fully Dynamic primarily with a Directional Light as well as a Skylight. Quite a few Point lights are spread out among the scene as well to add a little bit of life to the darker areas and especially to add the blue tint coming from beneath the and inside the walls to complement the yellowish tint.  

The piece has a lot of room for improvements but I was very happy with the results I managed to get within a week. 

Software used: Quixel Bridge/Mixer, UE4, Photoshop, Blender.
