Remember

Remember is a 3D animation thesis film with a focus on cinematic lighting and shading by Alores Xinyi Li as a recent graduate from the Computer Art Department of the School of Visual Arts. It is slow-paced, moody, and visually beautifully composited with designed camera shots and atmosphere. The goal was to show the ability to design things as a creator and direct a film, and understanding modeling and other aspects of the pipeline. The basic story is about an old sculpture artist who has a reunion with his wife who has been passed away in a dream when he finishes making the sculpture of her. The main theme of the film that I want to tell is, wherever the people you love may be, they never go away. They always live as long as you remember.
