My Name is Davide Gordon, I am 23 years old and graduated last year with my B.A. in Game Art. Since December 2020 I am working for a Game Studio in Germany. The following Projects were created entirely in my free time to improve my Character Art Skills and hopefully advance my career in the games industry.

This Character was created with ZBrush, Maya, Marmoset Toolbag and Substance Painter. Rendering was done in Unreal Engine 4. Since this was intended as portfolio piece the Polycount is fairly high, but still ready for animation. Retopology was done by hand in Maya. The Character has 72k triangles and the hammer about 9.5k triangles.

I sculpted this Basemesh before creating the Orc Character above. I used the Tutorial Videos by Rafael Grassetti to study the male anatomy, which helped me a lot to understand the forms and volumes better.



The following Renders are from a few classical studies I did with the intention to improve my anatomy knowledge and sculpting skills. Sculpted in ZBrush, rendered in Keyshot and overlayed some textures in Photoshop.
