Bone Cruncher
I am wrapping my final term at Columbia College Hollywood/Flashpoint Chicago. This is my most recent creature sculpt I have been working on with sculpting, rigging, and texturing. I hope you enjoy !
This is the most recent creature sculpt I created. I first sculped this creature for digital sculpting class, then I decided t take a step further rigging and texturing him.

UV Unwrapping (Maya)
Rigging (Maya)
Texturing (Substance Painter)

I have been fascinated with creatures like dragons, dinosaurs, and reptiles especially crocodiles. My main inspiration for this creature comes from a rescued crocodile named "Underbite" in Australia. This crocodile has unfortunately lost his upper jaw to another crocodile. I thought I would like to see this unfortunate creature look more intimidating, so I designed this creature with several features from other animals like gorilla's postures, and antlers.
I have learned so many new things from this project, such as rigging, texturing with UDIMs, Subsurface scattering, and displacement maps. It has been a fun challenge working on this project in between my class time.
