This is a selection of some of the projects I've completed during my first year at the Architectural Visualization course at YRGO in Gothenburg.

The House Project

Our first exterior render school project

My idea was to create a house situated by a lake in Värmland in Sweden. Using iToo Forest Pack I tried to tune the appearance of different types of trees to the proportions of this particular area.

The Hotel Project

Our class was split into groups and tasked with inventing hotels in different parts of the world. Our groups location was Tel Aviv, Israel. I went with creating the restaurant, while my class mates created a lobby and a pool area.

The story we came up with is that the building is an old abandoned orange warehouse turned into a hotel, combining the rich history of the local area as well the more modern elements of the city. I modeled the chandeliers, tables, candles, wall decorations as well as the room itself. The rest is made from downloaded assets.

The Urban Architecture Project

Towards the end of our first year we got the chance to try on a real world project through the help of Motiv Studio. Our task was to create a render of a skyscraper that is to be built in Bellevue, Washington.

At the start of the project we were provided with a model of the building itself (although incomplete) as well as a rough block out of the city surrounding it.

After picking a camera angle that I felt happy about I proceeded to make a rough color composition sketch. Although the final product ended up diverging from the initial sketch in some significant ways, it was still very helpful to me to have some sort of creative vision in mind as I was working on the scene.
