BMW e38
My goal is to make a BMW e38 and add it to GTA 5 as a playable fully detailed car.
My goal is to add a BMW e38 to the game GTA 5. I am working on this beside a full time job as a mechanical engineer. I am using Blender, car tutorials from youtube and some pictures of the original car.
v0.1 - I started the work based on a basic car tutorial. This is where the car started to be recognizable, when I found a new, more detailed tutorial. Although the car looked nice, I started the detailing and breaking stuff apart too soon. It seemed to me more difficult to fix, then starting over, so... I started over.
v0.2 - This time I wanted to make a nice base mesh that follows all the contour lines around the car before detailing.
v0.3 - Basically the same with more contour lines.
v0.4 - I was satisfied with the base mesh so I started detailing and breaking stuff apart. Also tried out a few materials to see how they will look.
v0.5 - Made some wheels. And the bottom of the car is in progress.
