Oskars Samovics 2D concept art entry

This term's assignment was to create your very own brief which would specialize in one of the game art fields. I chose 2D character concept art since I feel like it's my specialty and a thing I very much love doing! My brief was to create three sheets of characters all based on two themes. One being an overall theme that all of them follow and the second being a sheet-specific theme. The main theme was to create three creatures that resemble ''see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil'' motives in a unique way, big inspiration was to explore the animal kingdom for ideas and searching loads of reference images on artstation and similar places like it. The second theme was a theme or a race that the specific sheet of characters would follow, for example, one sheet consisting of just cyclopses.
