- An historical warehouse for oranges brought to new life. 

Welcome to the city of Tel Aviv and to this urban concept hotel located in an old warehouse for oranges built in 1909! 

For this school assignment I chose to design and visualize the inner court yard/ pool area of the hotel. I wanted to create a calm and luxurious atmosphere for relaxation. Combining the old and new while maintaining the qualities of each. Fine sandstone and plaster, exposed concrete floors and double height glass doors. Sparkling pool water, ceramic mosaic in hues of blues inspired by the nearby Mediterranean sea. The orange accents and citrus trees are carefully chosen to remind us of the history of the warehouse.

Started out with a research of Tel Aviv, both historic and modern time and created a moodboard for the project.

PROCESS

The scene is created in 3dsMax, Corona Renderer. Previz and wireframe to show the procedure. Render elements EXR. files were imported into Photoshop for final post production.
