Environments made in Unreal
In my learning of Unreal Engine, I created 2 different environments for games using various techniques. While the first environment is using assets from Megascans and served as an opportunity to explore photogrammetry tools, the second was built entirely by modeling and sculpting modular assets.
The Water Temple
Based on a concept by Eddie Mendoza
Created in Unreal Engine and fully working in real-time, this environment was built mainly using Megascans assets and textures while also taking the opportunity to explore creating my own photogrammetry asset.
The Icy Hammam
Based on a concept by Alexander "Minze" Thümler
While building this environment in Unreal Engine 4, I chose to model and sculpt modular pieces of architecture that I could then assemble together and re-use in other projects.
It was also a lot of fun exploring more advanced techniques of texturing and effects within Unreal.
The ice shader used here is a modified version of the Ice Cool pack available on Unreal's Marketplace.
