Fear & Mischief

The Narrative

 Fear and Mischief is about four children at a sleepover, who play a cursed spin-bottle type game. The game is said to summon the greatest fear of whoever it lands, but the children believe the legends to be fake. The bottle is spun, and a shapeshifting demon is summoned, taking on the shape of a nun. It magically locks down the house and sets out to eat each of the children.

Now you and your friends will take control of the children, and will have to escape through the only way possible, sacrificing your friends. By using the souls dropped by your friends when they die, you alone will be able to escape the mansion. There are items scattered around in chests that can be used to sabotage the others.

About the game

It's a local 4 player PVP game that can be played with friends on a split-screen, made for the Playstation 4. To win the game the players need to survive as long as they can from the monster that is roaming the level. But only one can win it all. Sabotage for the other players by using items to slow, blind and make them trip on wires. The monster needs to eat 3 players for the 4th to win. 

The game was made by a group of first year students at PSQ for their 9 week game project.  The work started March 15 2021 and ended May 14 2021.
