Hello everyone, I am currently a self-taught artist but I´m entering a 3D school next year to improve my knowledge. This is my entry for the Rookie Awards. Thank you very much!
Master Roshi
This is my last model until now, based on a 2D artwork by Ozzyo Da Vyrus. I sculpted and painted it in Zbrush, while I rendered it in Cycles, Blender. This was my first time creating human faces, and also my first time playing with realistic hair and I must say I struggled so much, but hopefully get out of trouble. I also used Photoshop to make the renders more appealing.
Tattoo designs are not mine, but I couldn´t find the original artists neither.
Magic Skeleton
This model was a 2D to 3D reproduction out of a 2D artwork from Tom Monster. This time it was completely sculpted and rendered in Blender, Eevee. I tried to make it as similar as possible to the original concept.
This was my first time creating a more o less complex character.
I also used Photoshop again to make renders more attractive.
Caveman Croconaw
This time I saw a really cool artwork by the awesome Piper Thibodeau which made me create this character. This was my first time sculpting in Zbrush and learning the program so it was a bit difficult at first but learned a lot from it. I sculpted and painted the textures in Zbrush and rendered in Blender. As always, I used Photoshop for enchancing renders.
