Game Objective
The making of this game is to aim for awareness towards Grab ForGood's goal which is to show how Grab Malaysia cares about people's job and they want to make them thrive especially in this pandemic situation.
Core Gameplay
The Gameplay starts with a Grab driver (the user) that collects brown-clothed NPC and if the player collides with the NPC they will turn green (recruited) then follow the player and points will be added to the scoreboard. The player must avoid the pink looking NPC (the enemy) or the player will loose points and the NPC will stop following the player. The goal is to collect as many points as possible.
Problem Solving
Not a lot of people know about this Grab campaign and from this people may look forward towards Grab and eventually might join the community.
Game Monetization
The collected points will be converted to Grab Points if the user scan the barcode on the left corner of the ending scene.
Development
Game Design Sketches
The game concept starts with some basic sketch of the map, character, some technical planning, and other necessary stuff to help with the design development.
Digitalization Phase
I wasn't satisfied with this design direction so I ended up scraping it and change it to another look that may be more pleasing.
Final Scenes
here are the final scenes in screenshots and a full walkthrough of the game.

Special Thanks
This game wouldn't be done without the help from my two amazing lecturers, Mr. Lim Shan Fei and Tan Min Ken, who guided me through the game process both on the visualization and technical side.
