Fable Retold: Oakvale Character | Fan Art

5 Student Artists. 12 Weeks. 1 Project

I was part of a group of master students from Staffordshire University, put together for a 12 week project.

Being a group entirely composed of artists, we produced an interactive environment from the original Fable (2005) game of the starting town, Oakvale. The environment is only a small snippet of the whole town, however shows what it would look like now with updated models, texturing and lighting.

I was responsible for creating a character to help bring the environment to life. The above character was the final product from this project.

Gravity Falls | Mabel and Dipper's Bedroom | Fan Art

The Environment is the bedroom of the main characters Dipper and Mabel from the Disney series Gravity Falls. It’s an attic bedroom with extremely tall ceilings, although the window is very small, the lighting within the room is a very important throughout the series.

The room is set up in a way to show the divide between the siblings taste as well as personal space. Dipper’s items and bed is on the left and Mabel on the right. There are very few personal items within the room as the siblings are only staying there for a summer with their Great Uncle Stan (Gruncle Stan).

Mabel and Dipper's bedroom - It features a triangular window that faces the same direction as the main entrance, multiple old arcade games, the bell rope that comes through the floor from the floor room, an alcove that has a fortune telling machine, as well as a coffin used as a TV table, and a small area with a second window (stained glass). 

The room is set up in a way to show the divide between the siblings taste as well as personal space. Dipper’s items and bed is on the left and Mabel on the right. There are very few personal items within the room as the siblings are only staying there for a summer with their Great Uncle Stan (Gruncle Stan).

There is a triangular window within the centre of the room, which is the only natural light source, it foreshadows the shape of the main villain, because of this there is a lot of shots using the window. Due to this the window needs to be done correctly.

The Mystery Shack is a tourist trap located in Gravity Falls, Oregon, which overcharges unlucky tourists. It was formerly owned by Ford Pines and inhabited by Stan Pines, then later Soos Ramirez, and it is the main house for Dipper and Mabel throughout the series. Wendy and Soos are the employees of the Mystery Shack, formerly Dipper and Mabel Pines. The Shack's full address is 618 Gopher Road, Gravity Falls, Oregon. The estate has at least 3 square miles (7.77 sq km). Originally, the shack was once the home of Ford Pines, during his studies in Gravity Falls. 

Mecha | Eel Piloted Mecha (Eel not included) 

A core module within my Master's Degree was to create a hard surface model, I wanted to create a mecha driven by a creature. After looking through concepts, this mecha spoke to me. It has strong humanoid anatomy as well as many particles, which was my research paper for this project.
