Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to be with you all here! Here is our entry for this contest with our graduation movie directed by Hugo Trenoras, Quentin Marsollier, Thibaut Sertin and Vincent Larcher. It was a real challenge to do this in 8 months for our last year but we hope you will like this !

FINN
FINN is a short movie based on the scandinavian universe, it tells the story of a viking which participate every year in the mythical beast hunting contest.
He failed every time and never killed one of them ( Bear, Dragon etc... ). He is the laughing stock of the Vikings, but this year could be a game changer...
WHO IS:
FINN
Our character breaks all of viking codes. Finn is a courageous viking who never stays on his defeats, he knows how to surprise by his imagination.

To create a circlefamiliar to our character, we designed a lot of very significant objects like Knarr, Horn and more...

The Knarr was designed and respected the global shapes of Knarr and Drakkar. We also added a funny mechanism on it to add a cartoon side.

BOBBY
Bobby is a living fish of the Ice Fjords. Not used to crossing man in his surroundings, he is very calm in nature and escaped danger.
Despite his gigantic size, he does not face his fears.

THE TORDENSKJOLD
The Tordenskjold is a mythical fish living in the abyss.
When it rises to the surface it can be hidden in an icy environment thanks to his dorsal ice spikes.

During our short film, we realized that we wanted smaller and quite fun fish.
We took the design of the other two character models, then created a smaller size with a different morphology and textures.
