House of Visions is a solo games project created by Alex Bush (Project Lead). I decided to create a teaser trailer to show off the work I have done for my final year at university.

House of Visions is a final year games project focusing on creating a real-life place as a game environment art. I wanted to do my real-life place on the Portland Bill Lighthouse because it shows I am able to do not only an interior environment art piece but also an outdoor environment. I wanted to challenge myself this year by creating game assets with no third-party assets in my environment (No Quixel Megascans or Speedtree Assets). I want to show employers that I am able to create everything from scratch and show that I am improving as an artist for the long-term future.

My Documentation and Research & Development came 3rd & 6th place for Grads in Games Search For a Star. I have provided some pages from my documentation to show the process behind my original games project.

I have permission from the original photo owners to use the photos to create a reference board for my House of Visions games Project.

House of Visions - Pre - Production Document - (50 Pages - All created from scratch by Alex Bush) -

My pre-production document breaks down how I researched the original House of Visions project and how I developed the work over time. The practical work is outdated as I have been improving my practical skills from doing my House of Visions trailer for The Rookies entry.
