Leaf Insect VFX Project

This project involved modelling, texturing, rigging and animating this leaf insect and then tracking a shot to composite the animation into. This was my first time using backplates and learning to use Nuke to track the shot. It also gave me the opportunity to practise realistic modelling and animation to create a more convincing final shot.

This shows the locators exported out of Nuke and the proxy geometry I made to match the log as closely as possible
