These three projects were completed during terms 1 and 2 at Vertex School. I'm a commercial interior designer pivoting my career to this magical industry.
Lonely Yakiniku Bar
Drown your sorrows and nurse your broken heart with endless Japanese beef, beer, and mushrooms in this secluded, noir bar for lonely souls. 一人で食べても大丈夫. It's okay to eat alone.
Process: Props modeled in Maya and Zbrush. Textured in Substance Painter. Rendered in Unreal Engine 4. Interior materials are from Quixel. Project finished in 2 weeks.

Flowers are blooming on a spring day with a gentle breeze at Kirby's greenhouse.
Process: Props modeled in Maya. Props textured in Substance Painter. Floor and ground texture finished in Mixer and Photoshop. Grass color varies according to wind and in-world position. Cloud card generated in Houdini. Rendered in cel shaded version and pixelated version in Unreal Engine. Finished in 1 week.
This project is inspired by concept art "Canyon Village" from artist Sergey Vasnev.
Process: Cliff, wind turbine, dome house, and fence component modeled in Maya and Zbrush. Textured in Substance Painter. Canyon landscape generated by World Machine heightmap.
