Stylized 3D Projects

This year I decided to enter with my recent work from the past 5 months. The models range from small environments, props, humanoid characters and creatures. There are a mix of PBR and hand-painted textures. For the hand-painted textures my goal was to stay as close to the concept and translate it one to one. I really enjoyed the process and learned a lot these past months. Hope you can also enjoy going through my entry!

Piper

Piper was made for a school project using the Stylized PBR workflow. The 2D concept is by Amandine Girard on Artstation. I used Zbrush for the sculpt and then retopologized using 3DsMax. The textures were made using Substance Painter and renders were from Marmoset Toolbag. I have been wanting to tackle a full-scale PBR project for a while and this was very fun to work on!

The Kelp Collector

The Kelp Collector was a piece I made to practice cell-shading and hand-painted textures. I used the 3D line art technique to match the concept where I duplicated my mesh, scaled it up and flipped the normals. One of the reasons I picked this concept was the bright and energetic colors. The amazing concept is by Requinoesis.

Christmas Pumpkin

I made Christmas Pumpkin last winter to celebrate the holiday season. The concept is from Julia Kovalyova on Artstation.

If you'd want to see more of my artwork, you can do so on Artstation or Sketchfab. Thank you for taking a look!
