Design Concept

This furniture is designed for kindergarten children which provide social distancing. This design provides children with variety functions that allowed them to keep a safe distancing between each other in the space. The aim of the design is to provide a transformable furniture which enable the users to use for difference functions such as foldable element. This design will also enhance the flexibility of spaces while providing a comfortable setting for children studying and relaxing. 

Concept influencing the design

Due to coronavirus pandemic, social distancing is now practicing all over the world. Keeping a safe space at least 6 feet from other people in both indoor and outdoor spaces is very important, especially the elderly and children where they are high risk generations. Everywhere is now emphasize the importance of the transition process which take place with a new phase approach whereby social, system and services are gradually re-opened. The transition to kindergarten provides a best practice to help children and families where will be prepared and welcome into a safe and secure kindergarten learning environment. The transition period will also help the children to practice individual social which helps them to gain self- confidence they need to become and engage with their peer in a new learning environment.
