Hello, my name is Arno De Regge and I am a 2nd year VFX and 3D Production student at DAE in Belgium-Kortrijk. Here is some work from the past year I made between September 2020 and June 2021. Hope you like some of it and feedback is always welcome! 

Treasure Planeet meets 3D

 The goal was to recreate the composition and lighting of a painting in a 3d scene inspired by a movie, game or series. I was inspired by the Disney movie Treasure Planet. I learned a lot about texturing, lighting and rendering. The painting is from Norman Rockwell.

- Modeled in 3DSMax

- Textured in Substance Painter.

- Rendered with Maya-Arnold with ACES.

- Post effects done in Fusion 9.

Star Wars inspired Control Panel

The goal for this piece was to create a realistic looking control panel. I was inspired by the panels we see in the famous Star Wars universe. I tried to keep the colors in the colorscheme of those panels.

- Partially modeled by me in 3DSMax.

- Rendered in Maya-Arnold with ACES.

- Post effects in Photoshop.

Procedural Cart Tool

The purpose of this exercise was to create a procedural digital asset within Houdini and make as much different wooden carts with this asset. I learned a lot about making things procedural and the workflow within Houdini.

Particle Systems

The purpose of this project was to get acquainted with the particle systems in Houdini. I learned a lot about the workflow of simulations in Houdini and working with a Dop Network.

Adventurers Camp

This was an exercise to practice sculpting by creating a little resting point of an adventurer. This was a great exercise to get acquainted to Zbrushes workflow and pipeline.

Made with Zbrush 2020.

Jeep Wagoneer Rerender

This is a personal project that I wanted to do to improve my last renders of this model. The environment is made with Quixel Megascans. The car is retextures with Substance Painter and rerendered in Maya-Arnold with ACES.
