Kristina Russo is the Head of Department for Wētā FX’s Virtual Art Department.  The VAD team provides the director ways to visualize their movie, explore virtual worlds and maximize the creative process by delivering lightweight assets and scenes for shot development. Kristina has been a part of the VAD Department since its inception and is a valued leader who is known for her team-first approach and her passion for inspiring artists to bring their whole authentic selves to work every day.  She is currently immersed in the Avatar Sequels, but her department works on nearly every project that comes through Wētā FX.
