A budding graphic designer and programmer, Fabio launched his career as a 3D generalist at a studio specialising in commercials and music videos in his native Italy. He was quickly absorbed into the international film industry, moving to Animal Logic in Australia as a Lighting TD on Academy Award-winning Happy Feet.

A move to MPC in London saw Fabio establish himself as a lead in the Lighting and Look Development department. Whilst there, he worked on various award-winning films including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Building on this experience, Fabio took the opportunity to move to Weta Digital in New Zealand for James Cameron’s Avatar, which claimed the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. Upon returning to London Fabio moved to supervising projects: first at Pixomondo, for Hugo, and most recently at Double Negative, as a CG Sequence Supervisor. It was here that Fabio was able to become heavily involved in the early creative stages of each project and see them through to delivery, with credits including Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award-winning Interstellar, Skyfall, Marvel’s Antman and Assassin’s Creed.

Joining Framestore in 2016, Fabio took on the role of CG Supervisor on Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle and Paul King’s Bafta-nominated Paddington 2. He is currently CG Supervisor on the upcoming Pokémon Detective Pikachu.
