I’m a Senior Creature TD currently working at Industrial Light & Magic. I’ve worked as a visual effects artist for more than a decade, starting at WETA Digital in New Zealand. My job requires a good eye for anatomy and involves a great deal of problem solving to achieve the best results. I’m passionate about the welfare of artists, and believe it’s vitally important to create environments that properly support and constructively challenge artists so everyone can move forward together. I feel proud to be part of an industry that can breathe life into a director’s most outrageous visions, and so often feels like magic. I can’t wait to see what the next generation of filmmakers have been working on, and am honoured to judge their work this year.
