Duarte Elvas
Motion Designer
Duarte Elvas is a motion designer based in Chicago who specializes in main title design.
Duarte studied Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and, after graduation, he began his career in the broadcast industry as a motion graphics designer in Portugal. He later earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from SCAD’s Motion Media Design program in 2014.
Since 2013, Duarte has worked at Sarofsky as a full-time designer. He has worked on title sequences for numerous Marvel films, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, and Captain America: Civil War. On TV, you can see his main title work in shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television or Animal Kingdom. His advertising work includes clients such as CenturyLink, Michelob, Absolut Vodka, Jeep, 5 Gum and many others.
