Rookie Alumni, Mehmet Tayfur Türkmenoğluwe has created an original character called Knight Spider using Autodesk Maya. This cool character has then been professionally rigged by Mike Fabris from Dr Reel https://www.drreel.com.

'Advanced' category
The winner of the People's Choice 'Advanced' category will win an Advanced 3D Animation course being offered by CG Spectrum. This is a comprehensive online 3D animation course to prepare you for a successful career in the film and games industry. This course is valued at over $10,000.
'Beginner' category
The winner of the People's Choice 'Beginner' category will win an Introduction to 3D Animation. This is an online 3D animation course for beginners taught by top film and game animators. This course is valued at more than $3,500.
Advanced Category Winner
Win An Animation Course valued at over $2000
The winner of the 'Advanced' category will get to enrollment in one of the Live Podclass Courses (worth $2000) being offered by Griffin Animation Academy.
Podclasses are online classes with groups of between 10 to 15 animators. These classes use one of their existing class templates AND also include live lectures, assignments Q and A and feedback from an elite animator.
The winner can select from one of the following classes:
Realistic Animal Animation - This class has a strong focus on realistic quadruped animation, behaviour and personality.
Large and Heavy Character Animation - This course has a heavy and detailed focus on dinosaurs, robot and creature movement and behaviours. This course will focus on developing technical skills that will allow students to work on shots that have large creatures.
Note: Students will be given rigs, Maya scenes and necessary assets to complete a shot that they can use in their reel.
