At the end of the bachelor's degree (18) I did a final work that consisted of recreating a very emblematic building of my village in 3D. There I really discovered the world of 3D. The only economically viable school offer with 3D that I found in barcelona was higher studies of video production and multimedia. With these studies I found a job as a video technician, cameraman and video editor. But after more than 3 years i decided to recover what I really liked and enrolled in Animum 3D School's.

Hi, my name is Philipp. I am a texturing/lighting/lookdev artist from Cologne. I always had a great passion for photography and drawing and dreamed to pursue a career as an artist one day. I was really inspired from the movie Avatar I watched back in 2009. At the age of 13 I started to experiment with Autodesk Maya and Cinema 4D. I have recently graduated from Pixl Visn Media Arts Academy and I am currently looking for any new opportunities! For any requests, feel free to contact me!
I'm not sure when it happened but I just realised one day that all I was thinking about was how do I recreate that. I would be talking to my aunt and just be thinking about anatomy, be at a wedding and thinking about the lighting, I think it was when it just became a part of everyday life that I realised I wanted to work in the entertainment industry.

I wasn't one, when growing up, watching films thinking that one day, I'm gonne be a film maker. As a kid I was an ardent gamer, getting into clans and whatnot with my friends. I also got into GFX, which was essentially making youtube banners and logos. I didn't even know this was something I wanted to do in the future, but I would literally come home from school, excited to work on some random guy's youtube banner.

The main reason that made me jump into this field were movies. The first movie that affected me was "Avatar." The mystery forest from the movie was fascinating and kept me surprised. The second one was "Iron Man" series. The most impressive thing was Stark's various ways to wear his Iron man suits. I loved every detail from the movies.
