At the end of High school I had just come off a string of sport related injuries and realised I didn't have the same passion for sport. I really enjoyed art but didn't think there was any jobs in that industry except for being a "Fine Artist" and that wasn't so appealing to me. After discovering design for video games and film I got really excited and have been chasing a career in that industry since then.

During my product development degree, a concept teacher showed us different 3D tools and works out of the technical market. After concluding my engineering degree and two years in the automotive industry, I decided to tackle something completely different even though it meant starting from zero.
I was not frightened because turning 3D animation into my work was all the motivation I needed. Using all the technical knowledge in my background for bringing characters to life was very exciting.

I've always been interested in film and media, and ever since I was little I dreamed of working at big animation studios, making the movies I so adored. So when the time came and I had the chance to study what I liked... well, I just took it! And the rest is history (yet to come).

Since I was quite young, I've always been drawn to being a creator. I've adored drawing and sketching in my notebooks, inspired by graphic novels and the fact art has been passed down my family for generations. Despite utilizing my creative skills my entire life, I always perceived it no more than a hobby- until late highschool. I struggled with confidence that i'd be successful because i felt it was too late for me at the time, but it didn't stop me from working hard to pursue my dreams.

Right around when I graduated from high school. I was a big fan (and still is!) of comics and I wanted to do something fun for my first semester of college. So I found 2 courses on comics and instantly fell in love with the medium and also found that I had a great understanding and talent for it as well. So I kept studying and creating and soon I was on the road to a bunch of different medias (film, animation, comics, litterature and video games) and eventually landed at The Game Assembly.

Art has been my biggest passion since before I could remember, but I knew a traditional fine-arts career wasn't for me. I craved more technology, more relatability...more kick. But I didn't know where to look, so I locked my artistic dreams away in a box and studied for a career in law. When it came time to choose a grad school, the pandemic hit. With space to break away for the first time in years, I confronted the fact that I would never be happy pursuing anything but this. So I went for it.
