Oh, I have always known I wanted to work in the creative field! I come from a family of entrepreneurs, but I was the only artist in my family. So when I was 15, I started creating custom phone cases with my artwork using sublimation. I knew I had to pursue a career in Industrial Design and found SCAD when applying to colleges, thanks to my high school art teacher, Mr. Burnett.

When I was in secondary school, I always enjoy doing some crafts or decorating an area, and as I approached graduation, many of my friends began to consider what they should do in the future. "Interior design" is the first term that springs to mind. I enjoy art and design, therefore I hope that my design can bring happiness to everyone.

I realized I wanted to work in the creative media industry when I started using consumer technology. I always loved how the apps on screens worked, and I wanted to be a part of designing them. I took my first Photoshop class in middle school (we used CS4!) and I've been hooked ever since.

I started with fashion design in my high school and fell in love with design, particularly product design. I just fancy the idea that the product I design could be used by millions of people worldwide, helping them throughout their day. Having a great mentor and amazing sets of friends only made me realize this dream faster and better. I was also introduced to Dieter Rams and was heavily inspired and motivated by his ideologies and design aesthetic.

I identify myself as an international nomad. Growing up I lived in the USA, South Korea, Sudan, Canada, Panama, and now Thailand. My exposure to many cultures shaped me into the curious, observant, open-minded designer I am today. It was just a matter of time until I got to be a UX designer as I was passionate about design along with my love for learning about new people and cultures. UX Design is where I could use my skills to reach out to so many more people.

With a continuous exposure of art all the way through high school, mixed with the pursuit of a college career that would fit my needs, talents and desires; I fell in love with Product Design and all the possibilities and opportunities it offers.
